Recommended experience: Ocean diving, moderate currents.

- Diving Conditions & Difficulty
- Conditions: Some deeper dives, occasional currents, variable visibility.
- Weather: Sea of Cortez: 26–30°C water, warm sunny days.
- Socorro: 22–26°C water, cooler open-ocean conditions.
Marine Life
- Sea of Cortez: sea lions, turtles, reef fish, nudibranchs, mobulas, bull sharks…
- Socorro: hammerhead sharks, giant mantas, dolphins, whales.
- Special activities: Themed nights, unique dives, interactions with local fauna.
Equipment & Prep
- Provided: Tanks, weights, optional Nitrox, daily briefings.

Boarding Process
Check-In & Luggage Drop-Off
Check-in and luggage drop-off will take place in the designated conference room at El Tesoro Hotel between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM on the day of departure.
Our land crew will be on hand to assist with the check-in process, tag your luggage, and answer any questions you may have.
Staying at a Different Hotel?
No problem — you’re welcome to check in and leave your luggage with us at El Tesoro. Afterward, feel free to relax at the hotel or enjoy lunch at one of our partner restaurants nearby.
Important: Return by 6:00 PM
All guests must return to the check-in room by 6:00 PM sharp for organized transportation to the vessel.
Boarding Policy
To board the vessel, guests must complete the full check-in process beforehand.
Rental Gear Fitting
If you’ve reserved rental equipment, fittings and final checks will be carried out during check-in.
Luggage Policy
All bags must be handed over to our crew before 4:30 PM in the check-in room. Please note: luggage cannot be sent directly to the vessel under any circumstances.

- Days 3 to 7 – Diving in socorro Islands
- Day 8 – Navigation to the Sea of Cortez
- Day 9 to 14: Diving in The Sea of Cortez

We return to Marina del Rey (Cabo San Lucas) at 7:30 AM after breakfast.
